Expression of Interest: Manager – The RAR’s National Memorial Walk (NMW)

Expressions of Interest are invited for this voluntary position, located in Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, Brisbane. The RAR National Memorial Walk, the spiritual home of The Regiment, is a “living memorial” dedicated to those infantrymen of the RAR who died while serving overseas. It is a place of contemplation and serenity where visitors can reflect and remember their deceased family members and mates who have died in defending this nation.

The Manager is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the NMW and operations associated with its commemorative activities. The position manages a group of approximately 50 volunteer veterans known as “Dads’ Army” and reports to the governing RAR Corporation’s Board of Directors.

The Manager’s responsibilities are detailed in the Position Description which will be provided to interested persons. The successful candidate ideally should be an RAR veteran with successful managerial experience and personnel management leadership skills.
